A new port and marine facility at Al Brega will handle the higher product flows generated by the industries. The new port will include main and lee breakwaters, a tank farm, and liquid, dry, general cargo, container, and service berths. The port facilities will be developed in three phases to match the phases of the industrial development and will be sufficient to accommodate present and future transportation practices and developments.
