Al Brega will be expanded to become a vibrant and sustainable world-class industrial city. This expansion will accommodate the significant employment growth from the new industrial development, capable of providing for a population of over 66,000.

The new city center is strategically located on the coastline and will serve the entire city. A marina and water front esplanade, in combination with carefully positioned high rise buildings, creates an iconic development with dramatic vistas of the Mediterranean Sea.

New residential development comprises a mixture of apartments, town homes, and villas, laid out using modern design principles. The existing communities will be upgraded and integrated into the new city design.
