The existing port and marine facility at Ras Lanuf will be expanded to handle the additional product shipments generated by the proposed industries. The expansions include a new LNG berth and a 1,200 meter long marginal quay. The port facilities will be developed in three phases to match the phases of the industrial development and will be sufficient to accommodate present and future transportation practices and developments.
